Why Recycle
Computers and other electronics contain circuitry contains lead and other materials that may be harmful to the environment. It is important to have these items recycled properly to ensure they don't end up in a land fill.
Our Program
Tech North Solutions will accept your electronics and ensure that it gets recycled properly at a BC Government electronics recycling facility for a $10.00 fee per unit. We will make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society as part of our company's Relay For Life team. 100% of the recycling drop-off proceeds will go to this worthwhile charity.
What is accepted
- Desktop, laptop, and server computers
- Computer monitors (CRT and LCD)
- Televisions (LCD, Plasma, or tube)
- Printers and Fax machines (laser and ink-jet)
- Keyboards, mice and other input devices
What is not accepted
- Broken or smashed equipment of any kind
- Photo-copiers and receipt printers
- storage media (CDs/DVDs/Tapes)
Conditions
Tech North Staff reserves the right to refuse the drop-off of any device. This is a voluntary and charitable service that we offer our customers. We are not a recycling facility but transport the materials to a government authorized facility at our cost as part of our contribution to a worthy cause.
